If you are interested in becoming a volunteer for the Red Cross Community based shelter partner at MCC and would like to attend this training:
- Become a Volunteer by applying online on the Red Cross website here
- Inform our MCC Community Director Ayesha Jafri by email
The first step to becoming a shelter partner is getting on board as a Red Cross Volunteer. This will create your profile in Volunteer Connections and submit your request for a background check. Once the background check is clear and your applications have made it to our workforce engagement supervisor you will be able to take the online computer training prior to hands on training session.
There should be a section as you are creating your profiles under “Choose Opportunities” where you can type in notes. This is where you would type in the name of the partner organization you are a part of in our case Muslim Community Center.
